The future of Boston United will be debated at a Football Conference meeting in London on Wednesday.

The Pilgrims, who are currently in the Blue Square North, are waiting to find out if they will be allowed to stay.

The club is out of administration after reaching a deal with the Inland Revenue in April but they remain in breach of league regulations.

There is also the possibility of Boston being moved to the Blue Square South as part of a regional restructure.

The Football Conference will be discussing the future of teams in the north and south as all four teams relegated from the Premier were from the north.

A decision is expected to be confirmed at their AGM on 7 June.

Boston were forced to drop two divisions following their relegation from the Football League at the end of the 2006-07 season.

They were refused entry to the Conference's top division because of financial problems.

Should they be thrown out completely, the Pilgrims would have to seek election to the northern Unibond League or the Southern League.
