the townend has always been a bit shit imo.and has slid further. the don rogers has the best view of the pitch and wins hands down for me.also the shrivvy road had the best atmosphere during the late 80's-the early 90's easily.i dont have a choice where i sit nowadays ,but had a season ticket on the back row of the lower part of the don stand and loved it there for years.

It does get annoying in the DR with the little Chav's who like to try and sit in any seat so they can all sit together, you have to keep kicking them out.
A lot tend to congregate along the back of the DR stand, not so much in the corner, although I think a few of the slightly older Chav's still go over there.

That, sir, is pure class. If you don't get at least an OBE for that in the next New Years' Honours list, there's no justice

Way I see it is that the TE will not be empty because most people are debating whether to go in the Don Rogers Stand or the Town End and haven't brought the Arkell's stand into the equation

The argument that the atmosphere is pants in the Town End doesn't really stand up because there simply isn't an atmosphere anywhere else...
and as Reg says, you can stand. Staying in the Town End - and getting my first season ticket.
