Jenna gets bullied about her weight all the time, and as a result of that has formed a complex.

So, maybe I was a little over the top, but these people have a directly adverse effect on peoples lives through no fault of their own

Cheers Fred, and strood it is fucking hurtful!  I came home in tears tonight because several bad things have happend to me today all because of narrow minded pricks, so yeah someone might have only called me a fatty but when you are trying hard to sort yourself out and and you get bullied constantly it makes you feel like shit, whilst that person carries on with his life as normal.  Makes you wonder why the fuck you bother.

The only advice that I could give Birdy is to try to think about what you DO have. I.E.: Friends and family who appreciate and love you for who you are.

I went through a bit of a down patch not so long ago and am still picking up the pieces, and trying to think of the positives helped sooooo much.

Boxing is pretty easy to pick up, just make sure you twist your body to get the power in the punch not fling out your arm and always keep your face protected!

I did Tae-Kwon-Do for a couple of years Birdy, and in the beginners classes their where more than a few overweight/unfit people.

To start with it is more gentle exercise and technique than actual fighting, obviously getting more intense as you earn your belts but you can do that at your own pace.

It worked well for many because it actually became hobby for them, and they where with other people on similar physical condition to themselves and therefore they didn't feel out of place.

Give it whirl and try to get a friend to go along with you for moral support. Not only do you get to be fit but you also learn how to punch and kick VERY hard if needed

i'm not saying it's not hurtful, just wishing cancer on someone for something like that really isn't very nice.
