I've been checking out some attendance stats from 14 years ago, when Reading were at Elm Park, when both of us were in what is now the Championship :

Reading (Finishing 2nd, lose in PO's)   Av Att 9,350

STFC  (Relegated under McMuck)   Av Att 9,744

So despite we getting relegated, we still had a bigger attendance than them....and they claim to be the bigger team !!!

Doesn't that just prove that we were a bigger club than them 14 years ago?

Just trying to prove when they were at Elm Park, and we were in the same division...we were the bigger club.

The previous season, then the won the equivalent of the League One title, they averaged less than 7k. Where were all their plastic supporters then?
