City or Hull, plus Stoke in the Prem. There's your bottom two right there. I have a feeling either of them could be more embarrassing than Derby.

Living in Bristol it gets on my bloody nerves - one of the local radio stations "Can Bristol City become the first team in the region to reach the Premiership?" Idiots

Their 'region' extends as far as Purton, it seems.

Not sure I fully with all the 'plastic' comments.  There is nothing we would like more than a promotion, bigger crowds, a higher standard of football, higher profile games and more (and better) press coverage.  That's what Bristol City and Reading have over us at the moment.

If we go up and we attract a few more fair-weather fans, would that make us plastic too?  I'd say we're long over due a slice of plasticity ourselves.  I'd take what Reading have achieved any day...just so long as we don't have to play on a retail park next to B&Q like they do.

City and Hull it looks like then. Any of them can win. Who'd have thought that both of them would be 90 minutes

The only positive to come out the game is that it proves if we sort it out off the pitch, there is no reason why we can't have the odd season of being competitive in the Championship. Is not expectation of doing so.

God I hope City get dicked at Wembley. You can see they aren't Prem quality and so I'd fully expect them to come back down, but a whole year of that gloating and the HTV coverage of it would be unbareable.

You have got to feel sorry for Rich Pullen.

That is my take on it as well. If a side of such averageness as Bristol City with a glut of rejects and league one players can get to a Championship play-off final, then there is hope for us all.

Oxford have been in the top flight before though haven't they?

Football didn't start when the premier league was formed Ralphus.
