gosling is seriously not a swindon town standard footballer, that my dearest acquaintances, is a cold hard fact, i've played with and against him, he's good but he doesnt really stand out at that level, not like someone like Timlin would for example.
Plus the poor cunt suffered a collapsed lung randomly during a game... apparently its quite common for tall thin soccerballers.
apparently we're having a look at adebayeve akinlomas, big ginger black brute, used to play for west ham and swans

Gosling is only having a trial through knowing Fitton from when Fitton was involved with Hungerford, Gosling should be playing at a higher standard than Hungerford as everyones knows, but no chance is he good enough to play for Swindon

Sacha Opinel is a legend down at Ebbsfleet - nutty french left back
biggest prospects tho are Lance Cronin the goalkeeper - Stacy Long - goalscoring creative midfield winger - and John Akinde 18 year old very tall pacy and excellent goalscorer - only made the team this year and scored 12 goals in about 15 games - lots of scouts watching him.
Any of these would be pretty good to trial As a shareholder you're trying to promote Ebbsfleet players and therefore I rank you alongside a door-to-door religious nut!

Thinking about it, we've had a pretty sketchy record in getting talent from non-league.
Lou Macari would be the exception to the general rule....Peter Coyne came from non league, although he had league experience but fell out....Colin Gordon was a classic non league steal and Brian Wade did a job for a couple of seasons.
Paul Bodin almost fits the bill...he'd fallen to Bath City, just got back into the league at Newport when Macari signed him.
David Moss came from Witney Town....probably the best recentish player we got from local non league football.

Apart from Phil Smith, i haven't seen a player we've taken from non-league look remotely close to league standard.

Paul Edwards or whatever he was called was alright. Was from Leigh RMI I think. Is he still at Wrexham?

John Trollope brought Jimmy Quinn from Non-League - surely one of our best Non-League purchases.
