You Quim
I don't know if I'm reading this right but in my head all I can hear is Leigh Francis' "The Bear" saying this. This is the same bear that would say "Oh piss off Steven!!" to Steven the Squirrel. The bear that would interview celebs, get excited and then "jizz" over them. It was a sketch originating within Bo' Selecta, I think.

Yaser Kasim may or may not be on trial.
I'd love him to come back. Classy player and a nice bloke too. He's probably about 35 now though right?

Only 30 but he's barely played 20 games since he left us. I don't reckon his heart is really in it.

Shame, he seemed to have all the attributes a tippy tappy midfielder needs. Well for a season or two at least.

Garner has told the Adver we remain in discussions with Odimayo. Tone seemed quite positive in the article and looks like testing positive fo covid may be the only thing stopping him from training with us at the moment - based more on assumption than fact.

I’m happy that he is staying, certainly one of the few that came out of last season with anything like credit for his performances.
However, I do wonder if being the highest earner has anything to do with him staying, maybe there’s nobody else out there that will pay more than his reported £5k a week?

There is absolutely no way on earth he is on close to £5k a week. Half it and it’ll be closer to the truth.

Jack Payne is over rated and over paid.
His end product is poor, and he is weak and gets bullied, and will likely suffer even more in league two than league one.
He puts the right effort in and runs around for which i can't fault hin, but that should be expected of most, if not all players.
Make no mistake he is here, and talking about this nonsense for one reason. No other club will take him and pay him the ridiculous wage we are paying him. Available on a free, yet not a single League once club is interested, does that not say all we need to know about his quality. He suggests there may have been interest, at which point the likelihood is the interest does not equate to the wage he is being paid. 5k a week!!!! The average is 2k-2.5k. DJ was getting £2.4k.
Quite frankly he is a massive drain on our budget, who contributes nothing like value for what he is paid, and outside of the sheer lack of bodies we have, we would be much better off without.
