And is this the same reason that season tickets haven't gone on sale yet?
Nah, Power's going to make everyone pay on the day so he can put more cash in his skyrocket.

No you'd think not, but maintaining a playing surface seems to me to be a cost that a judge would struggle to say was not essential works/costs.

the judge might if they realise there are no games left.

I get the pouch needs attention, and that it must be done in a certain timeframe. But now and not a few weeks time?

It could be argued (by LP) that for the purposes of selling a club and making said sale more attractive...a good looking playing surface would be one of the things shown when "entertaining" a prospective buyer. Thus deemed "essential".

It's the kind of thing I'm near as damn it certain that Lausanne Lee would have no qualms in using as claim to the judge.

We all know that it c/would be bollocks but the bar at STFC is incredibly low when it comes to integrity right now.

Wino Termer - Alcoholic cousin of the Chelsea starlet Timo. Used to play with BO-O at Helmand Sport. Should fit right in here...

But if the drainage needs fixing then it might take longer than usual so needs to be given as much time as possible? Alternatively I assume Cassidy is still in prison so it’s a contractor doing everything so might be the only slot they have available. Ultimately who knows but a pitch is pretty essential and clearly needs a bit of work as this season was the worst I remember it being for over a decade.

I would also imagine this job was scheduled in a long time ago and we likely have something in place with the company doing it
