If I recall correctly, the general mood to the Hylton stuff at the time was 'sit down Mr. Redditch owner and be quiet'.

That's how I remember it as well.

Who on earth is signing them? No head scout, no manager, no assistant manager, no first-team coach, no CFO...
We're a ghost club, and presumably under embargo (if we've taken FL hardship fund cash to pay wages).

As noted with the work being done to the pitch, somebody is paying for things with an interpretation that we will be playing football next season....

Unless they're paying for things enjoying the fact that it's a cost the opposing party in the never ending court case will have to pay. Correct me if I'm wrong but I understood that Morfuni/Standing had to stump up running costs until the case is resolved.

Obviously the club is fucked in a lot of ways, but we know how important the early part of the transfer window is. Difficult to see anything but a tough season next year unless some things move very quickly.

And is this the same reason that season tickets haven't gone on sale yet?

Its beyond my area of expertise, but I cannot imagine the court order would allow them to just piss money up the wall.

No you'd think not, but maintaining a playing surface seems to me to be a cost that a judge would struggle to say was not essential works/costs.
