Jayden Shockley is available on loan to L1 from PNE now they’ve signed Ched Evans.
Maybe he’d like to move back down his way.
They’re also looking to offload Bodin - isn’t he injured though?

I’ve always liked Jonny Smith - genuine talent that just needs a goal to get him going. Be a bad decision to send him back.
Agreed

100%. Nurture him. Surround him with the right support and someone to supply in the middle. He’ll come into his own and will be a Championship player one day, I am sure.
We could have kane up front but if the delivery doesn't get past the first defender it wouldn't matter who's there. If he stays he'll need to up his game from what he's produced so far as we'll need it to escape. Can we afford to nurture a loanee.

Bodin seems to have been injured most of the time he has ben at Preston, out of contract in the summer though I think. Stockley's two good seasons were in league 2 i think?

Has only scored 9 goals in 3 seasons at a higher level than L2. Decent signing but probably on way too much money for us to afford, even on loan we would need to subsidise the majority of his wages to stand a chance. Probably off to Pompey, Ipswich or Sunderland, one of the big financial hitters in our league.

Billy scored 22 L1 goals for Rovers and would have got more had he not left part way through the season to join PNE.
The Preston move was a great one but it's not worked out. I'm sure he'd do pretty well at most L1 clubs.

I can't remember/be bothered to look, are the people who fucked his dad over still here which might make him less keen on coming back?

I see Bodin and Stockley both linked to moves to Rovers.
Bodin to his ex team where he played his best football and Stockley relinking with the only manager (Tisdale) to have got goals from Stockley consistantly.

I can never decide whether Rovers are loaded or broke!
al-Qadi family have exceptional wealth but they/the owner don't run Rovers in that way.

Wright on transfers: “We are trying to bring more players in but nothing concrete at the moment. We are close on a couple. There could be some players leaving but there are no offers for anyone yet.”
Wright on Twine contract: “The way we have managed him has been first class and the goal he scored the other day will have people looking at him. We want to keep him at the club but everyone has a price.”

Speaking to friends they seem to have done a bit of jiggery Pokery with debt and are now owned by just the one family member with an off shore holding company that owns the stadium and the footy club.
It's a bit like their neighbours without the billions. The stadium appears to be the only asset.
They are giving Tisdale some money to spend but I'm sure it's just money loaned against the stadium.

I know an ex Rovers director and the Middle East family gave Rovers as a project to their son and apparently gave him a large amount of money for the club but he soon spent it and he then got told by the family he will not get any more money he has to run the club as a business and it’s not a toy and for him to create revenue he has to sell & then re invest from business he undertakes on players etc.

This.
Also Edmondson is rumoured to be joining Stevens at Bradford too.
Ade? Getting on a bit now. I suppose we could entice him down to Town with his "...fay-vour-rit. A pickled onion saand-wiiichh!"
