Callum Morton about to sign a new contract at WBA and looks likely to be sent out on loan again, would certainly be worth a punt although I expect Northampton will be favourites again unless a Championship team come in for him.

And about 3 other keepers
Last seasons Plymouth loanee keeper Alex Palmer signed a new 3 year contract and is expected to be the benchwarmer at WBA for the coming season.

I doubt they will go with an inexperienced keeper who has played less first team games than their own keeper as first choice in the Premier League this coming season.

Most baggies fans think that their current £6.5m keeper signed from Man Utd, Sam Johnstone, was their weak link according to their forum. Hes under contract for at least another season so if Benda did go then I don't think he would be anywhere near the first team.

They are currently chasing at least 4 experienced keepers from all over europe as well as Krul from Norwich, Michel Vorm, Brice Samba from Forest, Ben Foster of Watford and several more.

Nixon:

Town after midfielder Matt Smith from Arsenal on loan

Was on the bench for the cup final yesterday
‘Wonderkid’, eh? Sounds like a young Hoddle. Hope he plays like one.

Sounds exciting.

:rolf:
More suprising is that he actually played 53 times for the Town!

The Omar Bogle rumour has surfaced again. Great at Grimsby. 1 in 4/5 since. Big unit. Maybe Wellens can put him back to his best as he did with Doyle.

Big man with pace, can head and shoot...when he was at Grimsby anyway! and still only just this week turned 27. Is an aerial threat that we haven't had in a while up front. Several clubs after him too though in L1.

he's been pretty average to be kind since he's left Grimsby.

probably on a fair wage still too.

but if he's still got him in it, I'm sure Wellens would find it

Absolutely, if anyone can Wellens can.

He has still grabbed 120 goals in 290 games, thats a goals per game rate of 2.4 games per goal, higher than Maynard (3.1) and Doyle(3) and is 6 years younger.

Apparently according to Grimsby fans he is a real confidence player, something he has been lacking since leaving Grimsby for Cardiff 3 years ago for £700k.
