As far as I've seen it's emerged from a standard throw-enough-out-there-and-something-will-stick stuff rumour account.

I did like the angry(ish) reaction from a Blackpool fan.

It’s that EFL Hub twitter account. Mostly bollocks or reporting after the event.

Hilarious that the donkey fuckers think it’s Swindon fans on a wind up - AFAIK the account isn’t run by a Swindon fan so God knows how anyone other than the account owner could put a tweet on it.

I’d love it to be true just to goad the shaggers.

Rumours that REG could be on his way to . . .

Blackpool! You’ve got to laugh!

Is signing L2 players the best way of getting out of L1?
Yes,  downwards !!.

Way too good for L1 - according to Leicester.

Can’t believe he’d come here instead of Blackpool - according to the donkey fuckers.
Yeha and a few of them reckoned Muskwe was gonna score at least 10. That's not a dig at Muskwe, I think he had potential.

He was fast and showed a few signs of skill but didn't look like he was getting into the right positions, admitedly he didn't many chances to shine, but he showed a few good touches. Far too often though he wasn't in the right place to make any impact.

Leggy and pacey but not too much of a footballing brain on the current evidence.

Could be an option if he comes back on loan, if we could sign a couple from Leicester it may settle him down too having faces he knows around him.

There will as has been mentioned lots of new opportunities for Wellens to choose from in a week or so. We should not be preoccupied with ex players coming back, not dismiss but not fixate. As a player or players agent any previous shenanigans or double dealing, call it what you will, may come back to bite you on the arse. Word gets around very easily within the footballing community. Buyers market. He who pays the piper calls the tune. How many will have the money?

Just my opinion

Get Maynard to replace Doyle - Wellens wanted him before he signed Doyle last year
Callum Morton to replace Yates - we’ll still have a Ginger Pele!
DJ is a must
This George Thomas sounds like a upgrade on Keshi
Couple more loaned plucked out out the hat and we’re done.

A good shout, but we need a keeper or two.

This crossed my mind yesterday. Doyle wasn't even first choice. (He might not even have been 2nd choice for all we know). We only got him because Maynard (and others?) went elsewhere.

And the rest, as they say, is history.

I still maintain that a half-decent goal scorer will score a shed load with the way Wellens' sets up.

yup.

didn't really think muskwe was a serious option for us anyway, or indeed anyone in l1.

just hope higher League clubs are realistic over loan fees/terms/wages contributions in this climate

Completely agree.

A few years ago I’d be concerned us signing strikers on the wrong side of 30 but the style Wellens plays means that the striker doesn’t need to work too hard, just be a fox in the box and put the ball in the back of the net, the players behind will feed you enough. A lot of creativity in the full backs and midfield
