Are you 100% sure they’re a bunch of cunts or is that a concrete rumour?

I’m still unsure if we’re after Doyle any more or not.

Wish somebody would just come out and say one way or another.

Wellens on the FL show on Quest said we were now looking elsewhere.

I wonder if we are training 'far away' at the moment to hide certain players from the press as they train with us.

Doyle still calling himself a Swindon player in his Twitter profile. Perhaps he's signed a pre-contract agreement with us for the Summer  Smiley

I think Wellans has been open about this. If Doyle is available for the right price they will try to get him. But they have to have a contingency plan as that is looking increasingly unlikely. So they are looking elsewhere at similarly experienced and proven options. The Grigg and McNulty rumours are probably testament to that.

I’d image the Doyle saga will not resolve itself until the very end of January when Bowyer concedes its not going to work and he picks up the phone to Wellens.

G B: Hi Richie, how you doing?
RW: Not bad Gary thanks, hows the GP getting on?
GB. Interesting that you should mention OD.
RW: Oh, how so?
GB: The chairman (not GB) would like to come to an EOS agreement for ED.
RW: ED? Oh you mean the GP?
GB: Yes, if you like, (grits teeth) the GP.
RW: So ‘your’ chairman has decided to work something out finally.
GB: Yes.
RW: No thank you. Click bbbrrrrrrr

So, are you saying that all this Grigg talk is to put the shits up Bradford into letting him go to us at a price we can afford and not leave them with an unsaleable asset?

Now that FH is a sound comment and could have some truth in it.

I'd imagine we'd make a final offer for ED before pulling the trigger on Grigg, but we can't hang around. There are effectively 4 more games before the window closes. Grigg now is a better signing than ED on 23:59, 31/1, assuming they are both only on loan until the end of the season.

I assumed it meant we were training with Shrek. Rooney on loan from Derby?
