The rumour account says we are fighting Plymouth for Jamie Devitt again
Certainly showing some ambition this season if true.

The rumour account says we are fighting Plymouth for Jamie Devitt again

This kind of fighting?

I have, myself, full confidence that if all do their duty, if nothing is neglected, and if the best arrangements are made, as they are being made, we shall prove ourselves once again able to defend our home goal, to ride out the storm of 442 or 351, and to outlive the menace of the offside trap, if necessary for 90 minutes plus TAO, if necessary with a loan front two. At any rate, that is what we are going to try to do. That is the resolve of Richie Wellens management team-every man of them. That is the will of Power and Morfuni. The TE and the DR stand, linked together in their cause and in their need, will defend to the death their seats, aiding each other like good comrades to the utmost of their strength. Even though large tracts of the EFL and many old and famous clubs have fallen or may fall into the grip of the Charlatan developers and all the odious apparatus of PL rule, we shall not flag or fail. We shall go on to the end, we shall fight in SN1, we shall fight on the carparks and terraces, we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength down the wings, we shall defend our box, whatever the cost may be, we shall fight in the midfield, we shall fight on the three sided grounds, we shall fight in the centre circle and in the penalty box, we shall fight on the wings; we shall never surrender, and even if, which I do not for a moment believe, this town or a large part of it were subjugated and losing, then our GC fortress beyond the car park, armed and guarded by the Stewards and programme sellers, would carry on the struggle, until, in God’s good time, the New World order, with all its power and might, steps forth to the rescue and the liberation of STFC from the old league 2.

Not seen anything in the papers to say we have invaded Plymouth yet, though there may be a raiding party element left behind from yesterday’s battle..

Excuse me? Rambling diatribe, you cunt how dare you 😁. I have plagiarised Sir Winston Spencer Churchill’s famous speech. Apparently we are fighting Plymouth for Devitts signature. So I though it might help to rally the troops. People do all sorts when they are bored, I happen to look at things in a funny light and a light came on ‘fight them on the beaches’ speech came to mind.

Edit, so I as you can see made it a footballing themed speech. Of course i’m sure you or others could do better, just a bit of fun on partly cloudy summers day in England. What’s the weather like for you today?

It should go at the end of the players tunnel. Then get some guys with shields and spears beating them together. We'd never lose the players would be so pumped up.

A bit to long don’t you think? I mean ‘This Is Anfield’ for the Scouse works wonders, conversely by the time some of the brain dead players read it or tried to read it it would be half time.
