Now love him or loath him, he’s a nice guy and has the club at heart like no one I know. So if he is ITK and we are getting another ‘class’ signing then maybe we all will need a new sock drawer.

There you go relax about the signings.
Another class one by the end of the week.

It's not ED by the way.
Class Signing.

If he's been told something, the source for him would usually be reliable.

So far we've had 3 ins, one out, the final number of ins may be dependent on seeing a few more outs, although you'd expect at least one striker in come what may.

Lots of outs that have been released though.

What does the 'some people don't like it' bit mean? Meant to be 'won't' like it, referring to the player?

Also, remember when we were linked with Brett Pitman in January? He's also 31 and likely to leave Pompey. Will know Danny Rose as well. Just a thought!

He must be the most valuable player we've ever signed, if you add up the three transfer fees paid for him.

Depends how accurate you want to be with ‘signed’ and whether you mean value they gone for before we signed them.

If it’s a permanent players who already had the value it’s easily Paul Ince.

Michael Carrick & James Milner both loan signings from their first club fetched combined transfer fees of £21.5m & £41.6m respectively

Mostly loan players... of our own, Wellens tended to cover them in January. Think we'll see a CF and some cover there on  loan. Probably a winger and perhaps a utility player and then some loans. If any of the current players go, then they'll need covering.

There are some good and some bad about Zeki, apparently injury prone and one says "his injuries aren't necessarily physical"? wierd comment.

Perhaps he’s had a hard time mentally - that’s how I read it anyway. It can’t be easy to be 20 and told that you are about to become a multi millionaire Premier League star, and find that at 26, you’re earning far less and playing a few leagues below. He got a lot closer than most to cracking it, so the “fall” could be harder. We’re unlikely to ever know but if that is the case, let’s hope he gets what he wants from his time here - ideally, 9 or 10 years out of Swindon and a few promotions on the way.

As for the star signing #2 rumour, Pitman, Devitt, I’d take any of them. “A few won’t like it” is interesting though - Gladwin again?

Separately, I’ve also wondered how many suitors there would be for a Louis Thompson given his injuries. He won’t get near the Norwich side now.

Some people won't like it, early 30s. My mind went to Ched Evans immediately, but gotta think he'd go to a League One club.

Would it? He was found not guilty eventually (after 2 years inside).

Evans would be a superb signing (and the mock outrage would be a bonus) - he nearly went to Sunderland in January, so I find him dropping to League 2 extremely unlikely..

The 20+ goal man who could make all the difference, now where is that experienced right back  Hmmm

Evans is 30 and Wellens specifically said 31.

Since he left us he has only played 50 first team games.
