Nothing, and that's the delicious irony of the whole shambles.....

Have they moved Japan to Europe?!

No, but back in the summer the EU and Japan, agreed a comprehensive trade deal.... the Economic Partnership Agreement.....which will create an open trade zone covering over 600 million people, and account for about 1/3 of global trade.

I guess seeing as how this has taken 5 years to put in place, it's only to be expected that Liam Fox hasn't yet managed to negotiate a better deal for us now we're leaving.

For Tories like Fox though, a better deal involves doing away with worker's rights and environmental protections... diffiicult to see how the Japanese, might view that.... they didn't worry too much about such niceties in 42/43 on the Burma Raliway.

Hey everybody, I've got a really good idea... let's not discuss Brexit in the transfer rumours thread!

The discussion is about work permit issues.... will the Economic Partnership Agreement facilitate ease of movement for workers between Nippon and the EU and vice versa Hmmm

I'd imagine the players Union would have been up in arms about the foreigners coming over her and under cutting the locals wages, dampening wage growth in the industry.

FOOTBALL : @Official_STFC not signing Eijin Kishimoto. Manager Phil Brown : very unfortunate, after investigations into his standing in Japan and their standing in world football - visa probably lead him to play most of career in USA #stfc

It's a lot easier for "professional" sports and media personalities to get a Visa over here - the First Lady being a good example.  Maybe he could claim asylum or something?
