Lloyd Sam not joining then.

Rapid improvement in Scott Twine apparently has put paid to the move

No pressure, Scott...

He definitely had more about him than the usual first year pros last summer.

Agree we need another forward, and midfielder even after McCourt joins.

The CB's is interesting though. Are Lancashire and Conroy properly fucked? The position we have lease cover is full back isn't it? Who covers Knoyle? I assume Iandolo is considered back up for Taylor but he played midfield yesterday and looked decent.

Dunne actually looked good at RB in the game yesterday, maybe thats his future? I certainly dont see him starting in midfield.

Hopefully the new CB's can play full back a bit.

Yes agree about Dunne - better suited to full back than midfield, where he suffers from headless chicken syndrome at times. Romanski, given his ability to bring the ball out from the back, should also be able to cover for Taylor, if Landolo is needed in midfield, where he looked very comfortable and creative yesterday.

The last 3 seasons have been derailed by injuries to key players.... this coming season we've got them in early, which although a bugger does still leave us 3 weeks to sort out replacements, even if say loans til January.  This may be why PB is having to meet Power, he'll need to stretch the budget a bit, if we are to field an outfit that is competitive for Div 4.

As things stand we look short of doing that....

Well it appears that PB ACTUALLY does know what hes talking about despite a couple of our fans thinking we won't sign any new players before the season starts.

2 centre backs, a midfielder and a striker top of PB's shopping list with 2 of those at leats being perm signings according to PB himself.

Now get those players in sooner rather than later so that they can bond with the squad for longer.

We need two CBs. Robertson will leave. Lancashire is fucked. Find a CB who can cover at RB too and we're ok.
