I like punts. Hoping for something a bit more 'solid' as well, but I'm also hoping Smith could be one of those obscure gems we find from time to time.

it's punt city, realigning expectations as things stand to lower mid table with the outside possibility of a relation battle.

loans and more incomings could yet make a difference

Thoughts on taking JSW back possibly? A league below the last time he played for us. Should be able to do a job with Conroy/Lancashire i would think.

He looked ok v Ciren fitness wise.

Never really got the love in he has though, thought he should have had time to prove himself after the injury, but thought he was fairly average when fit.

I'm surprised we don't have better options, but I am not against giving him a go.

Conroy is a massive worry for me right now. No real news on fitness unless I missed it.

He got a bad injury at Orient which set him back and then when he returned to fitness he had a falling out with O's fans inside the ground so they got rid of him, if he can prove his fitness he won't cost a lot in wages and will only be backup, he also has to be better than Robertson.

He also does genuinely like the club and enjoyed his time here last time.

No brainer to offer him a backup wage contract IMO if he is fit enough.

He was pretty average in league one, that should put him as decent enough in league two surely?

Thought JSW did fine in L1, would definitely take him above the likes of Robertson. Worth a go.

Fair comment, we'll see. Maybe.

I thought JSW was really good from what I saw of him.

Given Conroy and Lancashire's injury records, I think signing JSW, another injury prone player, would not be a good idea.

I'd imagine after today's match and before the Spain trip. PB said he'd make decision on trialists after the game. Wonder how may of the 4 this will be?

None, I tried to push him but he wouldn’t give me anything.  Cheesy
