Jaydon Stockley may have been but Jayden Stockley is the Exeter player.

I would like to see proof that he was there TBH and not just somebody that looks a bit like him.

From what I can gather a lot of the Stockley rumour came from a Town fan winding up an Exeter fan on twitter last night

can confirm that, because it was me.

Exeter fans was calling us slug for taking McCormick on Trial. So i replied that Stockley was down here watching us play and that he and that he and McCormick are bessie mates and they both went home together.

Now if you actually believe that as read, then you should not be allowed on the internet.

I expect him to sign (if he agrees to our wage terms) decent keeper. good number 2 for Vigs and miles better than Moore. Good deal

My concern isn't the McCormick background, but the fact that we are fannying around shopping for substitute keepers.

If we start (or, for that matter, finish) the season with Will Henry on the bench, that shouldn't represent a problem. I don't think that a L2 club needs 2 experienced keepers battling it out, and I expect there will still be some kind of emergency provision to bail us out if we run out of goalkeepers.

If we start (or, for that matter, finish) the season without a pair of fully fit centre backs, and capable central midfielders, things might not be so straightforward.

I think it’s pretty clever Brown trying to get a decent number 2 in.
Last season when Vigs didn’t play we had 2 poor keepers, so if anything happens to him this season it will be good to have an adequate replacement.

I think the idea is fine in principle. I just feel that, given that we already own (at least) 2 keepers, but have nothing like a capable first 11, we shouldn't even contemplate signing another keeper until we have a respectable first team squad - within budget.

Sounds like he'll fit in well here then !.
He lives in Swindon already, he was involved in a pub fight which led to his sacking.

It's a bit early for the alarm bells to start ringing... there must be another 4 or 5 weeks until Harry Smith does the seemingly inevitable.  However as things stand, this pre-season is not looking encouraging, especially as PB inherited a decent sort of position from Flitters.  Little things like Dunne being suspended for the 1st 3 games an irritant.

The hoped for influx of a bit of quality ahead of the bonding trip doesn't seem to have materialised, so it looks like numbers will be made up form the trialists.

So with the proviso that still time for things to change, atm it does look as if Power is content to hopefully hang around in Div 4  while he tries to sort the property deals on Highworth and the CG
