I'm not sure that Toffolo would have been a good signing for us in our current guise.  Played quite well when we played tiki taka, but he hasn't settled anywhere since.  He was better going forward than defending, but of course he might be better at this now.  Given Lincoln's direct style, he might struggle.

I seem to be one of the only people that thinks Toffolo was average for us.
The outrage on twitter of missing out on someone we don’t even know we bid for is hilarious, our fans do seem to love an ex player. I can’t wait for Ince and Sendles-White to get new clubs.

I also thought Toffolo was a pretty average player, but he was an absolutely great guy off the pitch. I remember after the Scunthorpe game at the CG when he was on loan there and he chatted away to me at Swindon station. He spoke very fondly of his time at the club and his deep regret that we didn't get promoted with such a great team. Not totally sure, but think he did a fair bit of community work when he was at Swindon also.

I wish him well at Lincoln.

Yeah he did do a fair bit of community stuff, and I think that's why a lot of people's memories of his skills are clouded by that. He was Ok, nothing more, but he is in a league below where he was just Ok, so should do fine for Lincoln in this league.

This. It seems that any player that goes to another L2 club, we’ve somehow missed out on/outbid on/Power’s too fucking tight/or it shows how shit we are we can’t attract Carlos Kickaball.

Sendles-White? Hope we can do better than that.

Ince? L1 here we come!

Harry achieved popularity by his joyous response to the unpleasant Wade Elliot seeing red in the 2nd minute v Shitty.

Apparently we've 'made an offer' to Dorian Dervite, whoever he may be. I personally have no clue, therefore no opinion . On the rumour mill Twitter account though so worth repeating.

(experienced Centre back, has played for Charlton/Bolton at L1 and Championship level, seems a tad optimistic to me but lets see)

Probably this fella who's a socialist victim in Murder She Wrote, so should please some on here.

I'm sure Batch will be happy you think him worth repeating....

Not doubting it, but something definitely fishy going on. Who is this fella? Someone internal?
Someone who is going for the 'throw enough shit at the wall....' approach.

Dervite won't be dropping to League 2 - this is a non starter.

OST thought it worth repeating that we'd offered allegedly offered for Dervite, I assumed he was repeating what you had told us around lunchtime.

Looking back to last years close season. Some insightful comments

I've learnt never to trust a Northampton fans opinion after they told us Parkin was shit. Which means Taylor will be ace.

Woolery was signed in August. Knoyle was arse end of July.

Grimsby have turned down a bid for Dembele from Bradford. Seems unlikely he’ll be here any time soon.

I'd feel more comfortable if the bulk were in by the start of pre season. Brown said he was close to getting his ducks in a row 3/4 weeks ago. He must have a farm full of the fuckers by now.
