He looks no fitter than the day he arrived in my opinion and considering we were being told he is a bit off the pace and needs games and has had that but looks no different i think that is a problem.

It does happen that players get injured and can't get back to their previous level, but he's our player rather than a loanee, so we need to give him every chance to find his feet. (pun intended)

I reckon' Murray will come good. From the (admittedly limited) times that I've seen him, he does seem to have an extra bit of quality on the ball. That's probably backed up by the number of assists and chances he provided when he first arrived. At the moment, as with most of our players this season, he's struggling to find consistency. But I think that once he does we'll have a good player on our hands.

I have a suspicion that our 'experienced players search' (if its still ongoing) will go all the way to deadline day and then it's a gamble if anyone better comes in for our target's, if so I really hope we have a decent backup plan - although nobody will know as nobody wishes to communicate with the fans

I wouldn't mind a couple more players to strengthen the squad but I'm not going to get worked up about their CV.

Same here, main concerns were full back back, midfield and strikers. We have addressed that somewhat and if you look at the squad saturday which did not include Thompson and Obika we are not far off a strong team and bench.

1Vigouroux
8Kasim
28Jones
29Branco
21Dabo
10Goddard
4C Thomas
20Colkett
7Gladwin
17Feruz
33Norris

Substitutes
5Rodgers
12Henry
15Smith
16Stewart
22Murray
23Delfouneso
24Hylton

Saying that i wouldn't mind another striker as really wouldn't be suprised to see Obika leave this month or just be injured until the summer, i was expecting Delfonsou to leave this month but seeing he was captain yesterday i thought was strange

That rumour's been rumbling around for a while. Whether or not it's true remains to be seen, or not.

Lescott was on 5Live this week stating that he was fully fit and ready to play.

Either way, Rhys Sharpe is seemingly on stand-by to re-sign if all else fails.

Lescott worked with Sherwood, it's not uncommon for out of contract players, to train with an old boss/club etc to keep fit whilst looking for a new gig.

Any rumours perchance?

The guy that used to work at the box office might be getting a new car soon.

Southend after Ajose

They have just avoided a winding up petition by paying the tax man, so unless it's a loan deal cant see them having the money
