I'm sure he's a terribly good footballer and all that but where has all excitement regarding Keshi Anderson's ability coming from? I see a loan move unfortunately cut short by injury and the rest is an impressive Non-League record (which Jermaine Hylton also has).
I genuinely know very little about this kid other than Doncaster really want him too. ^^^^^^^ yup. hard to get excited before seeing him play a few times.

As I've said, the Anderson deal is/was pretty much done, depending on Palace signing a striker. Whether or not anything has changed with regards to that I don't know, but I think that's who Williams is on about. If it's not him, then I have absolutely no idea.
I was just going to ask this question but I looked back through the pages and foud the answer.

I think if Anderson signs, which is likely given what Quagmire has said, then Obika will be gone by the end of the month if we get a decent offer. Obika, Anderson, Norris, Delfouneso, Hylton, Young & potentially Stewart to play up top.

Not necessarily, Hylton would be first to leave on loan I would suggest. Stewart/Young play more behind the striker do they not?

We'll want a physical player up-front with a tricky/goal-scorer type alongside him. Big man/small man combo. We currently have 3 senior players taking up the big man slot with maybe Anderson to take the other slot. I can see Obika leaving regardless.

Injury prone, last year of contract, chance to get a fee, similar to Norris & Delf. I'm a big Obika fan but I think he'll go, love it if I'm wrong though!

He's ace but simply doesn't play enough games. If we get a decent fee and Anderson in I don't mind him going.

Of course, but we're all talking hypothetically here, and if it's a choice between getting a decent fee for JO now, and backing Norris, Delf and a.n.other to be enough, which bearing in mind I think we'll continue to play 1 up it would be, or him walking for free next year, I know what I'd do. If it turns out to be Norris/Obika/Delf for the one up slot then that'll do for me.

Just can't see what you are basing that on yet, unless you are an accountant With that we've got two unproven strikers and one that the Gills and their fans were happy to let go. To me its far too early to tell whether letting JO go would be inspired or disastrous.

Having been sat with the Gills fans before the game and during the game on Tuesday, about 90% of them were sad to see him go. Although the general consensus was that JET is better so Norris probably fell down the pecking order. Almost all of them said he had something about him. If he can realise whatever that is here we may have a player on our hands, and I don't think I've ever trusted a coach to bring the best out of a player as much as Williams.
