Both Alan Mac and Jonathon Douglas, were whisked away by the Brentford $, when we were paying tidy money. Clearly if Byrne has nothing better on the table, he'll rightly accept their offer.....our current driver is to avoid a Stockport scenario. Wasn't that long ago that they could see us off easily, with Ashley Williams in their side... |

Stockport were massive underachievers for the squad they had, many good players played for them back in the late 2000s. Even Michael Rose was highly rated then.... |

10 years ago we beat Stockport 3-0 (all goals coming in the space of about 5 minutes), that day they brought on a chap called Rickie Lambert and he was woeful.
Swindon also gifted County the record that was their 9-game streak without conceding.
Then everything fell apart for them.
Transfer rumours? I got nothing.

One of the best performances seen at the CG. He ripped Timlin a new one. I think it was Timlins second or third game at left back and he was looking good there until Pilkington came along. |
