How depressing must it be when, after a successful few years at Swindon, your reward is interest from Brentford?
Fair enough, they've had some outside cash injected and they're over-performing for the time being. But they're still Brentford. Poor man's [insert any other West London club of your choice.]
Fact of life as a footballer - Brentford > Swindon. Get over it people.

True. The difference is though, I don't care about anyone else.

Both Alan Mac and Jonathon Douglas, were whisked away by the Brentford $, when we were paying tidy money. Clearly if Byrne has nothing better on the table, he'll rightly accept their offer.....our current driver is to avoid a Stockport scenario. Wasn't that long ago that they could see us off easily, with Ashley Williams in their side...

Stockport were massive underachievers for the squad they had, many good players played for them back in the late 2000s. Even Michael Rose was highly rated then....

I remember him tearing us apart for them at the CG one year.

10 years ago we beat Stockport 3-0 (all goals coming in the space of about 5 minutes), that day they brought on a chap called Rickie Lambert and he was woeful.
Swindon also gifted County the record that was their 9-game streak without conceding.
Then everything fell apart for them.
Transfer rumours? I got nothing.

One of the best performances seen at the CG. He ripped Timlin a new one. I think it was Timlins second or third game at left back and he was looking good there until Pilkington came along.
