Fry and MacAntony (sp?) seem to love a good moan when bigger clubs are sniffing around their players and try and jack up the price as a result. They also seem to like buying on the cheap too.

Nothing wrong with this mentality as I'm sure everyone's the same but it's bound to piss a few people off in the long run.

Just spoke to cooper. Hoping to have 1 in this week and 2/3 next.
Swindon Town will field four trialists in their pre-season friendly against Bedfont and Feltham tonight, it has been revealed.

Town Boss Mark Cooper has taken a squad consisting of players from the club's Academy to the non-league club tonight, whilst four young trialists have also been included in that travelling party.

Matt Marshall, Devanta Romeo, Curtis Tilt and Aaron Sekhon will all be given the chance to impress in tonight's friendly under the watchful eye of Cooper.

Marshall, who plies his trade in midfield, had a spell at Notts County back in 2010, having previously been on the books at La Liga side Elche.

Romeo, 19, is a 5ft 7 right winger known for his pace, Tilt, 22, is a 6ft 2 centre-back, who was on the books of non-league outfit Halesowen Town in 2013, whilst Sekhon, 20, is also a centre-back, with the 6ft 1 defender having spent time with both Falkirk and Partick Thistle in the Scottish Leagues.

None of the triallists have impressed..... Apart from Romeo who is playing right wing. Bags of pace and trickery on a crappy dry surface. Great goal and equally good assist both because of his pace. Worth a look against better opposition.

Would have to concur with Bobby O !!! Great 2 footed prospect. Bags of pace and not scared to run at speed and take players on. Reminded me of a cross between a young Defoe with a bit of Lennon thrown in. The real sign for me was that the rest of the players recognised something in him as well and with every opportunity tried to feed him the ball. Only negative was he went off the boil a bit after a bit of a crunching tackle. That was reasonably late on and he'd probably run himself into the ground by then. Lets see him a least come on as sub at Bromley if he ain't injured. Sometimes you just get a feeling about a player..... Fire away lads..... I can take it...... A long long time ago on a bitterly cold night in the north-east I was lucky enough to see a certain Paul Gascoigne come on as sub for a second half of magical stuff.. Not saying this Romeo Fella is anywhere near that but I'd have me chequebook out first thing in the morning if it was up to me....
