Or never, like when we found out about the BEST signings because they were in the team one Tuesday night!

I remember Wellens doing this one or two times, and certainly gives a competitive advantage. We had a little more faith in being able to make signings those days.

Wellens did do it with Anthony Grant and Dion Donahue IIRC both announced just prior to the game.

Career so far plagued by injury. Seems nailed on for us.

Yeah lots of injuries there. Another one to keep Clayton happy, in the treatment room as much as off the field it seems!

Though signing young players from top clubs on permanent deals is something i approve of. Hopefully one will come good soon.

Hopefully he can put his injuries behind him and carve out a good career with us if he joins.

Good player if he can stay fit. Tranmere fans really like dhim in his loans there but injury curtailed them.

Looking at the positives here, that's possibly another from Liverpool and there are worse clubs to be linked with for signing talented youngsters.

Good pedigree, hope he stays fit (unless he's the one who changed his mind!)

Not quite the spine player Flynn was looking for- more to come or desperation stations?

A player on the shorter side as well still.

Need an Austin replacement before the window ends as well.

Explains why the medical is taking so long. Poor lad sounds like he's made of glass.
