Now we've got 2. Question is will bamba and Baudry speak French or English on the pitch... I think (whether or not Bamba joins), having a 'over the hill' aged player in as player coach is a great idea. If we're focusing on youth and development players, you need someone experienced, motivating, and with the nouse to grab a game by the scruff of the neck if needed as an option and whilst I think them playing will be the exception rather than the rule, just having someone like that around the club will be a boon and a support to all the players who are playing for us because they're not good enough for their home academy, or have had a career-ruining injury, or have had their career stall some other way. Sol Bamba has had a really interesting career, and obviously a break due to the cancer diagnosis, but to come back and play, well, for Middlesbrough last year says a lot about his character I think. I think him moving to Cardiff under Warnock and being dead solid in their prem promotion season probably is the standout for me, mostly because I remember watching most of those games for some reason. If Warnock loves a defender like he loves Sol Bamba he's got to have nouse. If we sign Sol Bamba, I'd be delighted. If we signed Caddis as well... |

We donknow that it is happening yet, but if it does I hope people will see it as a clear statement of the aims of the club, and lessen the panic that seemed to have set in. Sol is an absolutely top class fella.

Just seen this interview on talk sport 2 weeks ago, he comes across really well.
He does and would be a brilliant addition. Sounds like he might thinking league one minimum though from the comments he made? Let's hope they can pull this off as he would be a major asset to the club. |

We have, anecdotally, the best sports science team outside the Prem which might be a factor for a 37 year old looking to maximise his minutes.
Clear pathway to management too if we sell the idea that we promoted from within with SL for the current position.

Ultra experienced high level pro (and great community assets looking at getting coaching experience at a club which by and large has been dog shit at basic defending for a number of years now? Hard yes from me.

Been said a few times, or at least that we consider our team to be one of the best outside the Prem. Sandro, most recently said it on the Tom Broadbent Lounge. Williams in particular benefitted by playing the most minutes of his career in a season. |

The guys we have doing it now are very big in the industry tbf and work with some very high profile sports people nowfrom boxing rugby mma football quite a wide range . He is probably not wrong that they are probably as good as anyone else in the efl |
