I think he does bring calmness and his pace is a huge help but he is always likely to make a mistake. If i am not mistaken in the last 3 games he has been responsible for 3 goals directly with errors, if that is Baudry or Grounds they wouldn't get away with it as much.
In response to Batch i can see maybe Baudry let go

Let’s be honest. Our defenders last year weren’t under so much pressure as opposing team were shit scared of our attacking threat. It’s why Baudry looks so good in L2 but dodgy in L1. Fryers has been out for a longish time so give him a bit of latitude getting up to speed.
He was signed as a LB so is valuable to cover for more than one position.
And it’s a no on Hefele according to Nixon

Fryers was awesome at the start of the season. Soon as he went off injured at Peterborough, that’s was the turning point where things got bad.
He’s only had 2-3 games since getting back from injury and needs to build a partnership with Conroy. No need to throw the baby out with the bath water unless it’s Baudry and Grounds that’s the baby. Keep Broadbent and Odemiyo to push for first team places.

On the CB front has anything been said about the absence of Baudry/Grounds/Odimayo from the last game? Had not seen note of injuries. To only have one defender and that be Curran on the bench was dodgy. Know Hunt was suspended and Broadbent injured.

Can see Baudry to Salford. Based on nothing, Odimayo may have some interest from other clubs being young and athletic.

Ak was the 19th man Saturday so missed out on the match day squad. |

I'd prefer Fryers over Baudry at the moment, I wonder if Rob Hunt is set for an exit once he has completed his ban, we must have some defenders on the way out, I cant see we would get rid of Odi ass he is one for the future, Grounds is a fairly new signing, and Broadbent seem to be injury prone so I suspect Hunt or Baudry or both will exit. Then maybe we will bring in a new CB as cover |
