Only 20 and if he does join you would think he's coming to play in the first team otherwise Leeds wouldn't want him here just hope we aren't building a squad that's too inexperienced at league one level

Which loan player would miss out then? Unless we sign one of them permanently?

Was about to post the same thing. Tyler Smith? Kovar?

Most squads are super inexperienced this year. We're not doing anything different to 90% of the league (excluding Posh, Ipswich, Sunderland).

I know it's probably unrealistic both budget and availablity wise, but we already seem to have quite a young team. Was hoping for experience.

Yeah if you're good enough ...

The thought did cross my mind just after half time on Saturday when p’boro came at us whether a bit on calm presence and ball retention from Doughty would done us the world of good at that moment

“He’s a number eight," Bielsa said about Gotts back in November 2019.

"A midfielder, he is not offensive and not defensive, he's a number eight. I have never seen a player play with such a dynamic. He's a player with skills.”

Was being lined up for a loan to the Championship so looks a great signing.

Palmer will be on his way to Wigan now.

I don't think there is that much of a problem in one more loan than is allowed in the match day squad if you don't need them all in the matchday 18.

Which is where this one is a little surprising. We are really light in midfield, and with Lydens injury record there will be a large part of the season we need both CM Loans in the squad.

Tyler Smith is our only back up forward, J Smith and Stevens seem first choices, and then there is Kovar.

Will be interesting to see how this plays out today, though i guess with the extended window we may have to wait longer to fully see.

When we were first linked to Stevens, Gotts was linked to Huddersfield, so on paper, having never seen him before, he looks a very good signing if it comes off (and Nixon’s usually do). But if that means we lose a loanee, then we either need to sign one of the existing loanees (Tyler Smith?), or sign someone else credible to challenge Pitman. Maybe Richie sees Joel Grant stepping up once he is fit?

In interviews Wellens stated that Tyler Smith was a replacement for Admiral Muskwe, and he didn't always make the bench so Tyler missing out would be the logical one if you take Wellens word for it, but that would mean we would need to sign at least 1 more striker that wasn't a loan player.

If they're all fit. Which they rarely will be given the congestion. Much morelikely that'll they'll be rotated, rather than picking one to sit out most games.
