Thoroughly looking forward to this happening to Bournemouth in the not too distant future
They could fall straight through the football league altogether if the billionaire pulls out, other than a 4th stand they’ve got nothing physical to shore for their time in the top flight.

Do they even own the ground, didn't they sell it around bucket shaking time??

I think they have also bought the land for a new training ground, albeit still waiting on planning permission to start building it. But your point still stands, they've pissed away a huge amount in wages and have very little to show for it. Compare and contrast Burnley for example who've made significant investments in the infrastructure of the club and still managed to compete, albeit unattractively at times. Dyche doesn't get half the credit he deserves

If Bournemouth go down, Liverpool will be gutted.  Who'll massively overpay for their cast offs now?

Here is a cracking rumour for you....

So the team was in Marbella for a week. You probably don’t realise but the plays off for the Spanish equivalent of league 1 to championship  were held last week in Marbella. As it’s regionalized there were 16 teams competing. Wellens could have watched  all 16 in the space of 3 or 4 days.
I’m expecting some incoming talent from potential 2nd tier spanish sides.

Am I missing something here?  I don't think the team were in Marbella, a bunch of the players were on holiday together (on the piss) including Yates, but I haven't seen that the team were in Marbella, or any of the management team..  Wellens certainly wasn't out there was he?

Wellens and Hunt were with them - I listened to an interview with Brian Howard yesterday who joined up with them (played with Hunt at Reading).
