It’s all about who his replacement is.

Seen a fair few different links to George Thomas from Leicester. Plays as a 10. Was one hell of a prospect out of Cov a few years back but big PL move and not much football followed.

Not having that. Maybe when Stanley Matthews was playing. Were we a ‘big club’ 10 years after playing in the PL? Were we bollocks.

Football is all about the here and now. They’ve taken a massive gamble on an untried manager. Be disappointed not to finish above them.
I agree.

Our average attendance has been bigger in all but 1 of the last 5 season, yes I know they have had their Oysten problems but a lot of our fans say they won't come back with Power in charge.

Our highest attendance of the season was nearly 2k more than theirs.

The capacity of their ground is just 1,500 more than the capacity of the CG, even though they have better facilities.

They have had 1 season in the Prem, we have had 1 season in the Prem.

I would say we have the same potential to be playing in a higher league.

As Audrey says this isn't 1953 this is 2020.

Harsh but fair. I was unaware how much influence a donkey was on a player signing, turns out, a lot.

You’re right there. There’s not one player in our squad that makes my heart sink when he’s on the team sheet.

If any of our fans think Power is like the Oyston's and justify that as a reason to boycott its a pretty crap excuse.

If you look on the Facebook group you will see comparions over the years.

FWIW he really isn't even in the same league, thats something Blackpool were much bigger at Wink but why some fans use him as an excuse not to attend games is frankly pathetic, yet many do.

13,500 against Exeter suggests many don’t.

More likely that they will not admit to attending. Although the 13,095 did include around 2,000 Exeter fans thats still around 11,000 Town fans in attendance.

Is that the same as those who made much about boycotting when we signed McCormick?  Wink

Blackpool have this week announced they are cutting wage budgets for next season by 60% and have released a couple of their high earners already including captain Jay Spearing and leading scorer Armand Gnanduillet.
Where did you see that about the 60%
