And has been in and out of the 1st team this season, highly unlikely IMO. I would rather we spend his wages on keeping Grant, Doyle, Yates and REG.

Even dry shit will stick eventually. Why would GP want to play in the 2nd Division?

Especially if we, as expected, offer him a deal.

Is it.... no idea, he did seem to be going well with Rovers, before bailing.

From the Mansfield forum.

In regards to Pearce. He's a player who likes to play it out from the back. Coughlan strikes me as someone who prefers a more direct approach and a high press game.

Coughlan hasn't had an impact yet, except to implement his ugly but also ineffective style of play.

The Radford's went all in last summer on a known goalscorer in Nicky Maynard (gazumping Swindon in the process) to take them up but arguably skimped on their choice of manager and the rest of squad. Looks like they're going to do the same this season.

It's either that or this is their version of when Town were 'looking at' Brentford's Clayton Donaldson, Tom Adeyemi and Toumani Diagouraga.

Probably not a popular opinion, but I reckon Wellens can see us going through L1 and will be looking for Championship quality - just as he wanted L1 players to get out of L2.

I壇 have no problem with swerving Yates and Doyle if we池e looking to upgrade.

Conversely, we may be skint and can稚 afford Jack Shit.

Eoin Doyle did what he was signed to do and he'll always have my appreciation for that.

I think we'd all love for him to stay but there's a reason why he only signed up for the remainder of the season so if there's a financial element (either with him or Swindon) and/or better offer to accomodate his family life then I wouldn't begrudge him that.

6 months to either get us promoted or be available on a free for one last decent pay day.
