If that is the case, then we need to put a bid in quick. We must be his preferred choice of destination at the moment
It really isn't that simple is it. If it was we would be throwing money at Doyle.

Bradford performing the ultimate act of shithousery by trying to get Yates and Doyle to re-create the magic?

I think we might be getting a bit paranoid here, to recreate the magic rather than Yates they probably need to sign our entire midfield?

In a way this is a by-product of our doing just that bit too well with loan players. plus loaning from clubs who are round about our level, if you have a lad from a Prem club and he does well at this level the parent are unlikely to recall, however if it parent is a lower club it suggests the potential to do well so the risks are higher.

It screams to me more that another team have bid for his services.
BBC have said he's been recalled to cover for injury at Rotherham. Obviously could be bullshit. Either way, FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCKKKKKKKKKK!

The problem is now this has already created a huge negative ripple amongst the fan base. Where the County Ground has been a positive place recently, it won't be on Saturday and I imagine the fans will turn sour if we go behind.

Cos' that's gonna help isn't it!

(not aimed at you BTW, just at fickle bloody supporters!)

Big week for Wellens, Power, Jewell etc.

The only way the ripple will get back to being positive is with new signings. They are not easy to come by.

The fanbase are rightly disappointed/angry about this, just as things are going well someone (or 2) throws a spanner in the works.

This will show us Power/Wellens/Jewells mettle in the transfer market.

The mild worry is that if I was the agent of a striker we were speaking to, my negotiating position just strengthened considerably. Let's hope we have plans in place (and to be fair, we generally have under Wellens/Jewell/Power)

From the Rotherham forum.

can't see how he makes the starting eleven at the moment. Of course if we get injuries or suspensions, that could change, but he has to be in the queue behind Smithy, Vassell and Freddie... unless he plays out wide.

He was released for a reason, and has gone to join some team down under.

He signed with WSW in AUS pretty much 5 minutes after he was released. I made the same mistake.
