Well, he was at the match yesterday, so he must be interested.

So was I, but don't think I'll be signing just yet !! Smiley

He lives in Scotland doesnt he? Surely there must be something happening if he is going to carry on training down here?

He has an interview with ferry out tomorrow on his open goal podcast thing also

Doesn't he have a girlfriend from Swindon? Or did my mind just make that 'fact' up?

If a player like Caddis is available and his wage demands are not OTT then you have to pull the trigger. Lyden's going to be suspended after 5 yellows so get Caddis in there - perfect replacement I would say.

Caddis right back filling in for Lyden a centre mid?

On the radio they said it was his 5th booking of the season so he will have a 1 match ban, they could be wrong though, I think its his 4th booking.

As P to P said, he's been playing centre mid most recently. But whatever, you have to get him in if you have the opportunity. Our squad isn't so that strong that Wellens could turn his nose up at signing him.

  Re Caddis.

FWIW, re-signing old fullbacks after a longish period hasn't got much of a track record.... think Phil King, David Kerslake.

Generally if you do re-sign old boys, then it needs to happen fairly swiftly a la Zippy.

Chris Kamara has about a 4 year gap, probably about the upper limit.

Wow! You do talk a load of bollocks Reg. That's my detailed and un-biased response by the way. If memory serves me correctly I would suggest that the examples of previous "old boys" you give relate  in stfc terms to completely different situations. I don't think we were in so much shit then?

OK, I will state the obvious. David Kerslake and Phil King have absolutely no bearing whatsoever on whether Paul Caddis can still do a job for us. Neither for that matter does Paul Bodin. How can it possibly have any relevance? It's like the old "we've not won at such and such a bogy team in 35 years so we have no chance today" argument. It boggles my mind...
