I wouldn't say I 'bit'... just something I happened to see... I'm really not bothered if we sign him or not. I don't see the point in making shit up.

There's a certain art and humour in getting people to believe things which are obviously false. Bennett to Newport is neither artful nor humorous.

Exactly - Like the Akinde rumour last summer. He's a lower/non league journeyman striker. Anyone believing that we just might be signing him could hardly be accused of being stupid or naive - so who exactly was the joke on?

Think Tansmedia is down at the mo. Getting bladdered  on a stag do in Cardiff at the mo with 15 Coppers.

Wellens 95 and 100% sure on two separate strikers, looking towards the end of of pre season when they'll likely join. Both players want to come.

Very good sign, seemed to have a bit of a chip on his shoulder after RW arrived, to see him commit for the long term must mean he's bought into what the manager wants.

To see us essentially handing out a 3 year contract must look good to other targets, especially someone of his quality.

GOAL! 2-0 #BristolRovers. An unbelievable goal by Kyle Bennett, who’s now been involved in both goals. He ducks and dives past three defenders and fires past the ‘keeper.

Don't like to see this!

I've seen Zach Clough's name mentioned a fair bit. He was once a pretty serious prospect.

Bristol City bid £2million and his dad laughed it off. As funny as that annoying Bristol City was, having read the below article, I wonder whether he still listens to his old man!?

Sounds like an attitude problem. You don’t go from scoring 20+ goals in the Championship to not getting game time at Rochdale.

Maybe daddy’s had too much influence on his career. The look on his dad’s face during the 5-5 playoff game wouldn’t help in him suggesting Swindon was a good move!

He’s sunk without trace too by the looks of it. Back to his roots at Burton.
