There are a couple of players who are Southern (south of the M4) based that fit the clues, creative midfielders, but each would be a loan player and not a perm signing, so not really any the wiser yet TBH.

Not good enough, must try harder 😁

Scored 8 goals in 82 games, maybe he's realising he needs to play below the level he's been at.

Would surely thrive at our level but you'd think L1 clubs would be keen too?

Nile Ranger has a similarly atrocious scoring record before he came here.

And a similarly atrocious off-field attitude that sadly didn't improve much when he played for us.

Southampton, Pompey, Boremuff and Brighton are the obvious clubs, none have released any creative midfielders but all have some good youngsters on their staff.

The obvious club would be Pompey with the Rose, May and Hunt connections, Gareth Evans would be the only midfielder that I would be interested in and hes vice captain so unlikely to be him.

Nathan Thompson has told Pompey hes leaving today.....

Keane has a bad attitude as well?

Unless anyone has trawled the Internet for his goal scoring prowess, none of us will have the REAL inside track on this lad. I bet Wellens and Jewell have though, good or bad.
For sure wasn't doubting Keane. 3 goals in 11 for a garbage Ipswich team at the level bodes well if he were to drop down 2 divisions.

Is Rohan Ince still a free agent out of interest?

I note that Kasim, Donal McDermott and Anton Rodgers are still without clubs. (not suggesting we sign any of these, just making a point!)

Yeah all of those are free agent, makes you wonder if they are carrying long term injuries or they have an attitude problem as all bar Rodgers were half decent players.

Zak Dearnley, another Man U Academy player, is supposedly choosing between us and Grimsby.

‘Zak Dearnley will be out of contract at Man United at the end of the season but where will he go?

A tweet suggested yesterday that Swindon Town and Grimsby Town lead the race to sign the former Man United attacker. Until the transfer happens, fans of both teams will be wondering how the 20-year-old can help their team.

He spent his youth career at Man United and in 2017 he was on the bench for the last game of the season against Crystal Palace. Mourinho had Dearnley training with the first team in the 2018/19 campaign until Oldham Athletic showed interest in 2019, when they asked him to sign on a loan period.

The youngster made his professional debut against in February against Crawley Town, and he managed to score in a 3-0 victory. Unfortunately for him, his contract was soon terminated in April after he suffered an injury.

Let’s say he can keep fit, on the 30th of June when his United contract expires, which League Two side will he be better suited at?’

I read Bradford and Salford also after him.
