Anyone who has a problem being called a cunt shouldn't be on this forum. It's a TEF tradition.

I like the fact that Wellens has said that he is looking for permanent signings and regards loans as being 'not really for me'. It sounds like he's looking forward to next season and I can only really see positives from this methodology.

Been away for a day, we signed anyone in the last 24 hours, if so great, if not Power/Wellens Out obviously.

Thanks

One expects it to be the Southend kiddy.

No sources, just sweet ol' assumptions.

The Adver hack is going to have to have something to write about, having spun out Wellens post match until today.

Bit of an odd signing but guess it's a punt for the future. With the best will in the world a player that can't even get on the pitch for a team bottom of the national league isn't going to be involved with our first team in the near future.

Perhaps, maybe, he's just one for the future? Nowt odd about that. I don't see why it should be expected he'll be in the 1st team any time soon. He's only 18.

Southend fans seem a tad miffed that a good prospect has left them.

Yes on their forum they seem a bit bemused that they have let him go only months after signing a new 2 year contract with them.

Some stating that he probably figured out he wasn't anywhere near their first team, well TBH not sure he will be that close to ours this season either but he may get some outings on the bench so thats a step up from U23 footy.
