Well we need players and he is certainly a player Smiley

So from that, he's an updated Alan O Brian?

AOB could do the running after it bit.... not so clever on the kick it bit.  His finest 5 mins was probably coming off the bench at St Mary's when we beat Soton 3-0 in the Boycott Trophy.

Soton side that day contained Fonte who's at the WC, and has a Euro in his cabinet. Ox-Chamberlain who would have been at the WC..... Lambert who played for England and Schneiderlin who played for Froggy's mob.

Vincent Pericard notched a brace for us  Shocked

PB having worked wth JMc obviously thinks he's something to offer, so let's see.  We don't know yet about PB's recruitment hopefully as good as Flitcroft.

I wonder what Jermaine McSporran is up to these days.... too old to be playing but I liked his name?

I can’t get terribly excited about a journeyman player in the Cheltenham / Forest Green category. Seems most on here are the same. Hopefully we’re filling the bench before the first team.

According to his completely unsourced Wiki entry, he's working in a Unipart distribution warehouse in Oxford.

He's also 41, so you may need to look elsewhere for your Jermaine Mc

I think it sounds a positive signing based on the Cheltenham fans feedback. Its clear that Brown wants to play with wingers and get balls into the box and so we need wingers. He has worked with him before which is an added bonus. He'll add some pace into the side, a solid first signing in my eyes.

And a clear signal we're moving away from hoofball. Thank fuck for that. Hopefully this coming season will be more enjoyable regardless of where we finish.

I like wingers.

For me AOB's goal away in a friendly at Poole as part of the Charlie Austin deal in 2010 was one of THE best Swindon goals I have ever seen.

He ran the about 40 yards at pace and rounded the Poole keeper to score, absolutely brilliant, I think not long after that game his hamstring went again though Sad

This was mentioned on here last week.

I’m told we have made enquiries about Louis Thomspson coming in on loan for 3 months. That will depend on whether Norwich feel he is fit enough to start the season with them or whether he needs games.
