Lee peacock would be the most obvious internal manager-in-waiting wouldn’t he?

True, but given he’s already in charge of the youths, and has been in youth management for a significant time, I’d have thought he’d have already had a pop at senior management if he was interested in it

Tim Sherwood is looking for a job. Eek Out

I think if we were going to get rid of Flitcroft then Alan Mac if he is interested would probably get the job, and maybe with Taylor as assistant as he stated after joining us he was taking his coaching badges and wants to get into management.

It’ll be Alan McLoughlin or Lee Peacock or both plus perhaps Paul Bodin.

I'm not sure they would want it, possibly a little to smart to know if it goes pear shaped it would harm their reputation in coaching circles

Yeah, like we've always been a success when appointing mangers from inside the club? I don't want any of the above but with LP in charge it'll be the next man to step forward cheap option.I'm amazed that stfc fans want Alan Mc to go from youth coach to first team manager, after all it was so sucessful last time with Iffy making that step up. First team players are watching you coaching Kids one day then telling senoir pro's how to play the next. That's a massive step up, no matter how good a youth coach you are.I do have faith in LP to make another crap appointment to keep us on the trajectory we're currently following, down and out.

I didn’t say I wanted McLoughlin/Peacock/Bodin.

Sorry I wasn't pointing the finger at you per say, I have friends who follow the town and keep on about Alan Mc et al being given the job.Its that collected hive thinking that gets me. We've tried that way and it doesn't work, yes I know the clubs got no money and the promoted from within will be the next step but it fails. Hope that clears my thinking on the matter.

Right, so judging by the received opinion about that place, then it must be a wind up.

BBC Wilts twitter feed has given us Chippenham Town transfer news. I think they’d tweet about Gladwin if it made the radio.
