Seems to me we are building a base to kick the fuck out the opposition. Hate to say it but a bit like those Martin Allen Brentford sides.

Can't wait, frankly bored shitless of watching powder puff technical football. It may not be pretty but at least if we lose it'll not be through lack of effort.

work, fail, whatever, it's different. I'm looking forward to it right now.

Ajose won't be playing League 2 football next season.
Expect imminent Ajose signing then.

Wouldn't be shocked if Ajose did come back. Still have to fancy a League 1 club would take a punt though. Or a Coventry, Luton, Mansfield.

Yep, can't wait for the 'scarf above the head' shot... Cool

Re. Linganzi, some very interesting and positive comments here...

I particularly like this one...

Didn't take long, snapped up by Flitcroft at Swindon already. Along with James Dunne that's a scary central midfield, full of bite!

Pompey supporting colleague speaks highly of him. Got injured and didn't get his place back apparently.

Having a 6'4" striker who could score goals would put the fear of god into the opposition!

A mate of mine is a Pompey season ticket holder and said he will win most tackles in midfield, will win almost everything in the air but his passing leaves a lot to be desired.

Solid signing who was a bit of a fans hero at Pompey for the effort he put in when he was fit.

Lingzani, Dunne and hopefully Smith too. Certainly should be plenty of bite in that midfield. Hopefully creativity from Goddard, Iandolo. Hard to see where Connor Thomas fits in? Only 76 games across 9 seasons isn't many for Lingzani and reading his Wikipedia page number of hamstring injuries he seems to pick up seems a bit of a worry?

With Mark Robins back there I expect Thomas to return to Coventry before the season begins.

So he will be signing a new contract here for another 3 years on top of his remaining 2 soon then.... shame.

No have you not heard.  The sage has spoken.  In his usual dull 'look at me Im in the know way', but he has spoken nonetheless.
