I understand that. But just what could be in that fella's career to date attract Sherwood. With the position we are in, massive punts, which have got us where we are, aren't what's needed.

I really do hope they have a couple of experienced pro's lined up but the clubs wants to hang onto them until they sign replacements OR the players are waiting to see if they get a better offer

This, it's so obvious but unfortunately some "fans" can't see this and think we can just ring up a team, say we want to sign X player, within 24 hours he has signed....

It's frustrating we haven't signed any players but loans but the players we would want / require are in demand and will want to see what offers they get, Swindon isn't exacrly Madrid. Sherwood keeps telling fans he has irons in the fire, especially a player from Blackburn so hopefully that comes to fruition but it's looking unlikely.
