Someone on the Wycombe forum thinks it was us that bid. Looking at he squad list Costanza did, currently I don't think we need more. A few injuries or the strikers not scoring might make that a rash statement in a months time..

Worth remembering we didn't lose anyone either...Kasim, Obika still here.....we have a strong and flexible squad....

Surely an alarm bell for Power...the model is find players sell them on, we've only managed Ajose this time, any possible progress up the league a bonus.

It is what it is....the classic example being Turnbull. We were obviously interested but the potential high future sell on, outweighed anything he might have brought to the team.

Am I right in thinking we can still sign free agents?

Murray's just found out he's not entitled to a refund for the Rovers game.  Cheesy

I wondered whether we might see someone else come in as a free agent - Like Ajose did last year.

So no more loans so we'll have to rely on the kids when we get injuries and suspensions. I'm ok with that as I think we have a number of talented youngsters who will hopefully get more of a chance.

We could still get someones current club to terminate their contract if need be then sign them, that's what you mean right?

Along with genuinely free agents of course..

Can that be done after the transfer window and player be available to play ?

I thought they have to have had their contract cancelled before the window otherwise they have to wait until the next window to be able to be registered to play for another club

That's why I asked. I assume that's why Cox (Leyton O) can't play for anyone until January
