Doesn't fit our remit at 26 though, and he is in talks with Yeovil about a return to them.
I think we will see one or two older heads this year,not end of career type players but with a bit more experience. |

I think you might be right. two or three in the 26-29 year old timescale wouldn't hurt IMO. |

I think you might be right. two or three in the 26-29 year old timescale wouldn't hurt IMO.
Would hurt the budget though, I suspect one of the appeals of the younger player is that they are often in the last chance saloon and thus their wage requirements match their inexperience and desperation? |

Not sure being 26 automatically rules anyone out. If there's scope to get a transfer fee before they go to the knacker's yard they're young enough. |

No thats true, but Power has only signed one new perm signing on a contract that was over 24 (albeit a short term contract) and that was Cameron Belford who played one game. The oldest player in the two+ years that Power signed since he was in full charge have been Obika and Ajose at 23 when they signed. |

Christ are they both that young, Obika especially seems to have been around football for years, I assume he was about 7 when he was here on loan previously! |

The 'only Belford over 24' thing isn't quite true. Robert was 26 or 27 when we signed him and he had a perm deal - albeit one year with an option on two.
