Meh, I'm not sure how much of a pull being born in Swindon could be. Probably little. I knew George when he was a kid, he was odd. Cracking footballer though!
Probably not a huge amount of influence as he was born in Swindon and moved to Harlow aged 3 apparently.

Gonna be MKD or Barnsley if we were even in that race.

He is. Perhaps he should remember Exodus 20:15 before he signs for MK.

Well, looking at their local rag we're not even in the race

'Charlton Athletic, relegated to League One, are in the race to sign Moncur, while Legaue One rivals Peterborough, Barnsley and Franchise are also believed to be in the frame.'

I just love the idea of it being a real race!

Which one are we?  Given the Tommy A connections, I see a bit of the Anthill Mob.

We'll come fourth in that race.

Indeed! Best we keep looking at the released lists...

Doug Loft just released by Gillingham wouldnt be a bad addition, although I think he's struggled with injuries this season. Gillinghams budget is similar to ours too so affordable

These three lists make a good place to start for the kids: Tottenham's u21 team when Tim and Seamus were there, Villa ditto and Brighton's the year after Luke left and they reorganised.
Or more likely the u18s...

Signed John Goddard from Woking, 3 year deal with 1 year extension option.

Beat many clubs to his signature and one of the hottest prospects in non league football according to Power.
