Agreed Reg,used the budget up front and thought he'd bought goals that would offset any other deficiencies. As did I. Not easy at all.

I'd say he's technically not as good but worth more to the team, if that makes sense. Still think its possible Power has played a blinder in the 'joint deal' thing in masking Luongo's fee by inflating Gladwins. Personally I think Gladwin is a 500K player on performances, though you could argue they are buying potential and inflating the figure to ward off opposing bids.

Definitely. And if we consolidate next season and give it a go the season after then the model is working. Not sure that the model looks over such a long period re:loans. But Power has said he's building long term so we'll have to see what the loan:perm balance is this time.

At the end of the day I think we need to remember we have got a real football man at the helm, not a chairman who wants to be a football man!!  He will know what and who he wants - only time will tell if he gets all he wants and moulds them into a successful team.

The football this season has been brilliant at times.
I agree our chairman knows what he is doing, youth again with flair but some steel through the middle this season with a couple of strong defenders.
Another great season ahead I'm sure. I trust his judgement.

I'm neither optimistic nor am I negative, I await the decisions of Power/Standing/Cooper with interest.

This outcome was always on the cards if Town were to fail to go up and I don't think it's that hyperbolic to suggest that Swindon Town have big summer ahead of them.

I am expecting young current unknowns which will make the rumour mill almost null and void (because spotty 15 years olds struggle linking players they don't know exist)

Roll on the not too distant future!

I think a few lads may be available from Leicester in the next few days who are in our age range.

Well... Anton Rodgers and George Barker were able to recover from their court ordeal at dearest Swindon.

Unfortunately both are better at knocking one out over a pissed up bird than they are at playing football.

Have we signed Messi yet, or are we waiting until after the Champions League Final to announce it?

When either Power, Cooper or Sam announce the affirmative, I'll believe it. Until then zzzzzz
