Thought Storey still had a year to run ?
Walsall and Shrewsbury expecting him to be released soon and both chasing him

Cooper said he did, so I expect they mean contract terminated by mutual consent so that he can move on.

No matter what your opinion are of him, its pointless keeping him.

Anyone know if Williams has / will be offered a new (and presumably reduced terms) deal?

I'd be more than happy if he was with us next season.

When you learn that teams like Sheffield United are/were interested in Willo, you can start making the assumption that reduced terms won't quite cut it.

Mass should be right at home there.....not sure if it is still the case but nearby Earls Court  and surrounds used to be known as Kangaroo Valley, due to the large numbers of Aussies living there.

You've also got Swindon Street just round the corner from Loftus Road.
I actually posess the sign, stolen in 2010 by my own fair hand (in conjunction with the assistance of an Irish drinking buddy who's shoulders I stood on). Bush is less Aussie than it used to be when I was there now Walkabout has closed down.

Genius, Gentleman Explorer, French Cabaret Chantoose  and Small Bets Placed and someone who knows who they are changed my signature but its only know that I can be arsed to change it....and I mean all the spelling mistakes.

Was it me? It can't have been an interesting enough event for me to remember - fB.

Yeah because Walkabout is brilliantly authentic.

I read an article a year or so ago about how rising costs etc have seen decreasing numbers of Aussies in London/UK.

Such a shame........................................

That figure seems like BS to me. Anything above 750k would be great.

I like Byrne. He always gives 100%, and scares the opposition with his running.

But he's 1 footed, and his final ball quality is sometimes  lacking. Can't quite see him doing it in the championship let alone prem.

Much as id hate to lose him £2m is  ridiculous . though you never know quite how these deals are structures

His improvement this year has been remarkable, I think. I looked forward to seeing him play, loved watching him run at full backs. He isn't a defender, but he is very good going forward. He'll be a big loss, but the model is to sell when the price is high. Now is the time I suppose.

I love Byrne but £2m is crazy money (if true)

Assuming it's true, the figure might be to scare other sides off considering bidding, whilst he's away rowing.
