was more a cartwheel than a flip, but hey....lets call it a flip.

also my fantastic Beckham like cross from the free kick for the first goal seems to have been over looked!

That Fleming kid wearing 3 wanted to take it, good job I got to the ball first  Cheesy

Also, I liked the shout of stanley your my hero!

I was in the pub for the first goal, and it MAY have been me who shouted Stanley you're my hero  Oops

I may also have shouted 'he had a skinful last night' in the first half when gazzza missed a ball. Well peacs found it funny.

Wondered who that was!  Beers

That was brilliant, fair play to Sturrock and Peacock.  Peacock wanted to win so much, gutted I offered to play at back second half.  I swear if my fluke of a long way out volley had not been tipped around the corner, I would of stripped naked and retired!

DV had so much space and nearly got a few, bennett didnt stop eaither - he could of had a goal.

Hanaham (sp) is a great keeper with a hell of a kick - shame he didnt get a jimmy glass goal.

Lastly, Gary Stanley gets a hell of a lot of shit, from me as included, he is STFC through and through.  I wish he had scored at the end as that woudl of meant more to him than anything, your a good lad gazza - fair play to getting to that ball at the end.

Cheers to everyone who came.

Thanks for your kind words guys! Most of the stick I get is in jest. Some of it deserved. To me there is nothing that gives you so much pride as walking out to the County Ground pitch in the famous red shirt. I've done it twice. I missed a few balls today but I think most of us did. I improved on last year and am still gutted to miss the goal at the end. I was so close but close is not good enough. I  sunk to my knees after that ball just missed the goal. Gutted! Cant wait to see the pictures though!

I did have one good long pass to DV. DV had acres of space at times but no service. Ash was great encouraging me when I came back on even though my ankle was fucked thanks to the guy who stood on it TWICE! Bennett ad some good touches. I was nervous as fuck to start with but very happy on the night!

My ankle is buggered but legs are fine. If I try and walk now its a bit of a chore. wAS IT WORTH IT? Damn straight.

I had terrible blisters last year so wore a pair of thick socks under my football socks this year and did the trick.
