I had to speak to a guy called Helmut Wanke the other day, I just called him Helmut as there was no way I could have called him Mr. Wanke without cracking up.
I also spoke to a Thai today whose nickname was Bent. There was some confusion about who I was actually talking and without thinking I ended up asking: "So are you Bent?". I won't be allowed to forget that in the office for a while.
