As somebody mentioned, Hairspray is supposed to be good but may not be your thing Fred. It is right across the road from my halls but I can't afford to do the research for you!
You can get tickets for most shows if you turn up at 9.30am (ish) on the actual morning, even if they are "sold out"

I'll 2nd and 3rd that! Took the missus just before Xmas. Thought I would be totally bored while she enjoyed herself but tbh it is probably the best West end show I have seen and I have seen a few! Grease and DD are the best 2 I have seen. And like Jimbob said, there is plenty of the cast that are well worth going for! The blonde has got legs that go on and on!  |

Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, Lion King, Rent & Blood Brothers - all highly recommended.
I'm going to get some tickets for the Lord of the Rings jobby, as it closes mid July. Its been panned in reviews, but just HAS to be done.
