Just a note to anybody planning to go on the train...on the 22nd March there seem to be no trains between Swindon and Reading - just a replacement bus service. This works fine for me as I'm setting off early to stop off in Central London but thought I'd let you all know

Oh and it also wont let me book a train ticket for it online

Clearly instead of a bus service, they should have an army of trained unicyclist taxi chimps.

I'm on the 8.18 bus to Reading. No Unicycle taxis available unfortunately.

Yes but we think they may have put time back as the connecting train from reading will be cutting it fine otherwise!

I've booked an early morning coach instead now. Will probably meet you all in Brighton at 12 or 12.30, almost certainly in a public house  Wink

If somebody could get me one and I'll pay them back on the day that would be great!

I would get one for Whits and R4E but it's looking like I won't be going, don't think I can afford it  Sad

It's about £35 for the train and then another £25 for the match ticket. Plus beer and food is an expensive day out.

***BUMP***

Are people getting the train to Brighton and pubbing there? Or going to Preston Park (nearer the ground but probably less to do!)

Also, a reminder that if anybody would be so kind as to get me a ticket I'll gladly pay them back on the day, or at Leyton Orient if you can get one before then!

bar the pub at withdean there's very little around the ground, you're best off going into town and getting the park and ride bus back to the ground,(5-10 mins) If i can get a ticket i'll probably drive as only 40 mins by road

I presume they'll go on general sale this week anyway so don't worry
