My oldest is a bona fide town fan, carrying on the tradition.....the younger one has little interest in football, though I suppose if pushed he'd say he was a Town fan.

His last two matches were at home to Stevenage....he hated it.   Then about 03/04 on Boxing Day, he had a choice of sit in the car or come to Nene Park.

He opted for the game, again terrible shit....he's not been siince.

My lad was forced into it by me Cheesy Took him to his first game when he was three and even during the periods I couldn't go I still kept up the brainwashing.

When he was little he developed a soft spot for Liverpool (My Dads fault) but I think he's pretty much recovered from that now

It's for their own good Cheesy

I stopped the car and told my lad I was going to leave him on the roadside when, at age 5, he told me Man Utd were his team.

Shock tactics, but it worked Cool

My little girl will be a town fan for sure, and I am planning that her visist to England/Swindon will be during the season.

Both my nieces go, and drag their kids along...with some being keener than others.  Nothing much to do with me, other than  STFC being the family tradition.

My Dad used to go with his mates in the sixties , starting taking me when I was about 7  (1970) . Cycle is now repeating itself.
Got 2 boys , youngest who's 5 says he's Liverpool but he'll change when he knows whats best !!.
Starting taking my 8 year old a couple of years ago and despite getting stick at school he's Swindon mad !! We love it.
